Image Gallery

The Image Gallery content type allows you to create an online photo album, where you may post several images to a single web page and control their order and captions. The images will appear as thumbnails, and any image can be enlarged simply by clicking on it. The Image Gallery is commonly used to post pictures of community events, city parks, or to show the progress of construction projects.

The Image Gallery content type also allows images to be displayed in a slideshow with no extra work by you! The Design Templates section on this site uses the Image Gallery content type. Here is a short video tutorial to walk you through the process of how to create an Image Gallery.


 

You can also use the following information to help you in setting up an Image Gallery.

Each image must be added as a new Item to ensure proper functionality.

  • Gallery Images - Click Browse... to find and select the image on your computer's hard drive that you want to add. Once the image is selected, click Upload to add it.

  • Image Properties -
    • Title - This will not display on the public side of the site, but will appear if your cursor is placed over an image.
    • Caption - This text will display underneath the image on the public side. This field can be left blank.
    • Sort Order - Determine how to sort your images here. 50 is a default number that can be changed to reflect the order you wish your items to appear.
